When it comes to turntables, there’s a pretty wide selection on what you can get. When I decide to scratch, having a reliable turntable is something that goes without saying. My recommended Turntable is the Audio-Technica AT-LP120 (View on Amazon).
This turntable is the best turntable for anyone who’s looking to become an aspiring vinyl enthusiast. One of the most convenient features of the Audio-Technica AT-LP120 is that is can play 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM, which means that there won’t be one vinyl that you can’t use. There’s nothing worse than taking a vinyl out of the box only to find out that your turntable won’t play it.
For the price of this turntable, it’s pretty darn good. There’s a USB output that you can use to digitize your vinyls (which I love). Simply put, this turntable is balanced well – Great for beginners and awesome for professionals. If you’re a more seasoned turntablist, you’ll enjoy the option to dial in the vertical tracking angle, tracking force and effortlessly replace the headshell.
If you’re looking for a cheaper turntable with less features, y0u can always go with the Audio-Technica AT-LP60. It’s a major downgrade from the one I recommend, but it can be good for those on a stricter budget.
